That works until the next message comes in, and then I need to toggle again in order to read the newest message. The app is completely unstable. It crashes frequently and is a huge resource hog. If there was a viable alternative that worked with Verizon I would jump on it. I text a lot for work and the ability to do so from a desktop or laptop is huge.
